We provide support to individuals in any number of situations; those who are in a career but looking for more experience and to develop skills and/or want to give something back; those who have been made redundant and want to keep their skills up to date; those who are unemployed and want to use and develop their skills.

For new volunteers
After
the initial training and completion of the E-portfolio and matching form, each
Programme Executive will be matched to an appropriate third sector organisation
that will have the opportunity to vet and interview the individuals.
This
will ensure the right person is matched with the organisation and the individual will
get experience at interview with constructive feedback from the interviewers.
Host
organisations will offer up to three types of experience:
Board Membership – subject to appropriate
vetting with CRB and with companies house. This will provide the board with a new member with management
experience and a different insight to how to improve the management of the
organisation.
The individual would commit to being on the board for a minimum of 1 year so may
stay as board member subsequent to leaving the programme and finding
employment.
Management Placement – up to 16 hours per
week providing management support, possibly in a specialist field, to the
host organisation.
Specialist Project Assignment – the host
organisation may have a specific project which would benefit from the
experience of one of the programmes participants.A project brief would be provided to onboard and appropriate individuals
would put themselves forward for the opportunity.
The
placement would not affect the individual benefits and would be free to the host
organisation, although we would ask that the host covers any expenses incurred
by the individual.
A
three way agreement will be drawn up between onboard, the individual and the host
organisation to clearly specify the expectation and requirements of each party.
If you would like more information we would love to talk to you.
