A key to the success of an organisation is its management of strategy, planning and sustainability.  For this to happen organisations must ensure that trustees and/or directors are informed, skilled and developed to maximise their potential and ensure they provide the best they can to the organisation.

This is particularly important considering the legal responsibilities of trustees.

Onboard works with Chairs, CEOs and board members to determine what skills and knowledge they have and consider what gaps exist.

To fill these gaps the organisation may consider recruiting new members to the board or training the existing board.

However the organisation wishes to address the skill requirements of a board Onboard can help by either the provision of appropriate training or assisting in process of recruiting new members.

Much of our work is based on National Occupational Standards for trustees ensuring that all that we do is recognised nationally providing credibility to both our activities and the trustees once they have undertaken our activities.
